May 20, 2020As we wind down the 2019-20 school year, we are looking toward summer break and to our next school year. Below you’ll find information for families returning to P.K. and families new to P.K. for the 2020-21 school year.
Each year, we make plans for the new school year and share information about systems and procedures at P.K. Yonge. This information often includes important dates, bell schedules, new program information, and more.
The plans we share today are based on information we have available to us as of May 20, 2020. We keep up to date with the Florida Department of Education and the University of Florida and will continue to work on possible scenarios for the 2020-21 school year should statewide updates throughout the summer affect our school schedule or campus access. Families will be informed via email, web Announcements, and the P.K. Yonge Bluewave on Facebook if any changes to our current 2020-21 schedule are required.

This year, returning secondary students will notice a change to our secondary schedule with secondary students attending the same four class periods every day for a semester.

These events are designed for families to learn about the 2020-21 schedule. Events will be scheduled for different groups in the school community and will take place online in the evenings during the week of June 8. Please stay tuned for details.
New Secondary Building | Details
Though campus has been closed to students for the end of the 2019-20 school year, construction has been continuing! Our secondary building is really taking shape!
