As UF faculty members, teachers at P.K. Yonge are expected to collect and document evidence of outstanding performance in teaching, research, and service annually. Most faculty members are expected to apply for promotion during their 6th year of employment at P.K. Yonge.

Faculty who are successful in their application are awarded a 9% increase to their salary base.

Emails and reminders regarding promotion are sent to the faculty each year and meetings are held to support those interested in applying.
