Program Options, Spring Break, Important Dates, On the Horizon
October 14, 2020As we approach the middle of the semester, we know that families are eager to have information about the rest of the year, about program options for 2021, and about Spring Break.
On-Campus and Off-Campus Program Options Until Dec. 31
As shared with families at the beginning of the 2020-21 school year, decisions to attend school remotely will remain in effect until December 31, 2020.
Program Options for 2021
Off-campus program options for the first semester of the 2020-21 school year were made possible via approval from the Commissioner of Education until December 31. Currently, no information has been released from the Commissioner’s office regarding off-campus instruction/remote learning for 2021. We anticipate that we may not have information about approved program options until December. Information will be provided to families as it becomes available and program options for January can be determined.
Spring Break, March 22-26 | Dates 2020-21
P.K. Yonge’s Spring Break will remain scheduled for March 22-26, 2021 and is not impacted by recent changes made to the University of Florida’s Spring Break. Any changes (should they become necessary) will be reflected on the Dates 2020-21 page on the web and will be communicated with families via email, the web, and Facebook.
Important Dates | Dates 2020-21
Some dates and breaks look a little different this year. A reminder to all families that when reviewing Dates 2020-21, be sure to note that Winter Break is December 21-January 4, and we have an extended break between first and second semester January 13-19, 2020-21.

So much progress has taken place on our Secondary Building and we anticipate a move-in date during the month of January 2021. We are so excited to contemplate what school will look like in this incredible new learning space!
