Seniors – Essay Contest
Seniors – Write an essay honoring the life of Honorable Judge Stephan P. Mickle and be eligible for a monetary award! See the poster hanging on the 1st floor blue bulletin board.
Best Buddies
Best Buddies members, please meet in Mrs. Czyz’s room on Thursday, Nov. 30th, during lunch to plan our next Balance 180 event with our buddies, which is coming up on Sunday, Dec. 3rd.
Thespians
There will be a mandatory Thespian meeting in Mrs. Hemmerich’s room on Thursday during high school lunch. We will be discussing districts this weekend, our final New York City Trip payment, and future Thespian events. Be sure to bring your one act and district permission slips and codes of conduct with you. If you do not have 1 of these forms, please see Mrs. Hemmerich prior to Thursday.

Chipotle Fundraiser

Spring Musical Auditions
Mark your calendars! Auditions for the Spring Musical, Into the Woods, will be on Wednesday, December 13th at 2:00 in Mrs. Hemmerich’s room. Callbacks on Thursday, December 14th, same time and place. Audition material and sign ups will be posted on the Troupe 4102 instagram and the PKY Performing Arts Facebook page by the end of the day.
Wild Arctic Ice
Wild Arctic Ice is at the top of the elementary traffic circle every Wednesday afternoon at dismissal. He takes all forms of payment and offers a wide variety of flavors. Most cups are $5.00.
MS Baseball Tryouts
Middle School Baseball tryouts will be held November 29 at 7pm at Diamond Sports Park. Make sure to sign up on Gatorball.
Deck the Halls
Want to contribute to the schoolwide winter competition and win your grade level points towards the big end-of-the year prize? Bring your own materials and go all out on decking your grade level’s hall December 11th-15th, from 2:40 pm to 4:00 pm. Each grade has been assigned a theme and wing entrance to decorate, which goes as follows:
- 6th graders: north pole, 2nd floor orange wing.
- 7th graders: peppermint forest, 2nd floor green wing.
- 8th graders: Polar Express, 2nd floor blue wing.
- Freshmen: Elf, 3rd floor green wing.
- Sophomores: Frosty, the Snowman, 3rd floor blue wing.
- Juniors: gingerbread house, 1st floor green wing.
- Seniors: Whoville, 1st floor blue wing.
Please be mindful that you may only decorate the doors and windows, and materials that can ruin the windows and paint (including duct tape, glue, hot glue, and paint) and tripping hazards will not be allowed. Judges will announce their choices for the best elementary school, middle school and high school hall on the last week before winter break, so make sure to be creative and show off your festive spirit!
