Congrats Baseball

Congratulations to Blue Wave Varsity Baseball for beating Ocala Vanguard to remain undefeated for the Fall 2022 Season.  They will play in the championship game Tuesday night against The Villages at Ocala Vanguard High School,  7 PM. Way to go, Blue Wave!

Digital SAT Canceled 

All 9th and 10th grade students. Due to the closure of school tomorrow, the digital SAT pilot exam has been canceled. No make up day is currently scheduled. Should this change an announcement will be made and an email will go out to student families.

Congrats Girls Soccer 

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Soccer Team who defeated Suwannee 8-0 last night. Good luck tonight at 5pm against Maclay!

Juniors – Youth Tour to DC

Attention All Juniors: 2023 Youth Tour to Washington DC Contest sponsored by Clay Electric is here!  This program provides one 11th grade student from each of the 30 high schools the opportunity to represent their school in a contest consisting of a written quiz and speech contest.  Student representatives will have an all expense paid 3 day trip to Tallahassee where the final phase of the competition will take place.  The winner of the competition will receive an all expense paid trip to Washington DC.  See Mrs. McElroy for more information.

Juniors – Girls State

11th grade students:  Girls State is a non-partisan program which aims to teach young women Americanism, democracy, responsible citizenship, and love of country. This is a free government program for current juniors held at FSU for 8 days in June for selected delegates sponsored by Unit 16 Gainesville.  If interested, please see Mrs. McElroy for more information.

Sticker Sale 

National Art Honor Society is having a sticker sale!! There are lots of crazy designs! Perfect for your water bottles! Please see Mr. Moody or any member of NAHS to purchase.

Seniors – Field Trip 

Seniors – we’re going on a field trip! Pick up your permission slip to go to the arcade and lunch from the front office now. The trip is on Wednesday, November 16th from 9-1. Admission is free. If you’d like to buy food from the food truck, bring some money. You may also bring your own lunch, or a school lunch. Signed permission slips are due back by Thursday, November 10th. Seniors – Service Hours

Seniors – The time has come! I’m sure you all have your 75 community service hours that are REQUIRED to graduate done. Please make sure you turn in your forms to the front office. The hours only can count if we can record them in the system. See Mrs. McElroy or Mrs. Koppitch for any questions
