Congrats MS Football
Congrats to Middle School Football for their win against Seven Rivers last night!
Home Football Game Student Section
Come out and support our Blue Wave varsity football team this Friday at PK Yonge against Hawthorne at 7:00. The student section theme is neon/destruction zone. The student section is only reserved for the first 5 minutes of the game so get there early!!
There will be a pep rally this Friday at the end of fourth period to support our Blue Wave varsity football team. We will have games and music, so dress up in your best Blue Wave gear.
Homecoming Court
9th-12th graders, it’s time to nominate your choices for Homecoming Court. Check in canvas for your grade level’s nomination forms. Nominations are open until next Monday, September 25th. The top 3 from each grade will be on the ballots for Homecoming Court.
Gaming Tournament
Join us for an exciting gaming tournament fundraiser hosted by “Our School’s Robotics Team”!
When: Today (Tuesday), Thursday, and Friday from 3:00-5:00 PM each day.
The Entry Fee is $5 and you can choose to compete or just play for fun!
Snacks Will be Available for Purchase.
If you’d like to sign-up, please see a robotics team member at LUNCH. They’ll be roaming around with a sign-up sheet to register.

Student/Parent Night for 9th-10th Grade
There will be a Student/Parent Night for Freshmen and Sophomores this evening from 5:30-7:00. Information on Pathways, Graduation Requirements, PSAT/SAT/ACT, Bright Futures, Diploma Designations and GPA plus much more!
Peer Tutors
Attention all Peer Tutors: We will have a quick meeting today, Tuesday, during lunch in Ms. Roach’s room. Please accept your Peer Tutoring Canvas course invitation.
Common App Help
Mrs. McElroy will be available after school, Thursday, 9/21 in the library commons for any students needing assistance with Common App. Bring your Chromebook and questions. Mrs. McElroy will help you with anything you help with.
MS Boys Basketball Interest Meeting
There will be a meeting on Wed right after school on the elementary basketball court for all boys interested in trying out for the middle school basketball team.
NHS
All NHS members there is a meeting September 21 at lunch! This is for all members.
Art Competition
PK is holding a competition for 6th-8th grade students who would like the chance to have their artwork hanging in our State Capitol! The Art in the Capitol Competition will be accepting submissions now through the deadline of Monday, October 16th. Please bring your submissions to either Mr. Moody or Ms. Johnson no later than October 16th. The winner will be announced Monday, October 25th. See Mr. Moody or Ms. Johnson if you have any questions!
NJHS
Attention 7th and 8th graders! National Junior Honor Society is holding the first meeting of the 23-24 school year on Thursday, September 21 after school in Mrs. Fab’s classroom (Blue 210). Current members, as well as those interested in applying, are encouraged to attend. You can also find information posted in the second-floor commons.
