Student – Scholastic Contest Runner-up Describes Principal’s Superpowers

Congratulations to 3rd grade student EJ Coulburn-Diaz on being named one of 10 finalists in Scholastic’s national Captain Underpants Movie Contest!

The art and writing contest was centered around a much-loved book series about two elementary school boys and their elementary school principal who turns into his alterego, Captain Underpants.

EJ’s original artwork depicts the alter-ego of his principal and describes her superpower.

As a national runner-up, EJ was recognized on the Scholastic Reading Club’s Contests page and received a huge selection of books!
