Student: Jahnise Nixon Receives Award of Excellence

During the summer, Jahnise Nixon represented P.K. Yonge and the State of Florida at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Boston, Massachusetts. This week Jahnise received an Award of Excellence certifying her successful completion of the Congress.

Jahnise, joined by other high school students from around the country, watched live surgery, was taught by some of the leading minds in medicine, mentored by prominent medical school leaders, and was inspired by young geniuses who are leading the future of medicine.
