Recognition for P.K. Yonge 2019-20

As a school we strive for excellence and are driven by supporting student success. This year, P.K. Yonge has been recognized in a number of exciting ways.

US News & World Report recognized P.K. Yonge as one of the  highest-ranked schools in the nation based on factors listed below. P.K. Yonge is #1039 in the nation (out of 17,245 ranked schools, that means the top 6% in the Nation), #57 in Florida, and #1 in Gainesville (Details).

  • Students excelled on state tests and performed beyond expectations
  • Students participated in and passed a variety of college-level exams
  • Students graduated in high proportions.

 

P.K. Yonge was listed by Newsweek as one of America’s Best STEM High Schools 2020, and is positioned at #3230 out of 5,000 in the Nation (Details).

The Florida Council of 100’s Horizon 2040 Report included P.K. Yonge as a Best Practice School (Details).
