Joe Locke: University Wide Superior Accomplishment

April 14, 2021

It is with great pleasure that we announce Joe Locke’s award as one of eight winners of a University-Wide Superior Accomplishment Award. Joe received this award in the Scientific/Technical Division for exemplary service, dedication, and commitment to P.K. Yonge and the University of Florida.

Earlier in the year, Joe received one of a number of UF Superior Accomplishment Awards that recognized a number of individuals in a variety of categories across the University. From each group of winners selected in each category, one candidate is selected to receive a University-Wide Superior Accomplishment Award. Eight winners from across the University of Florida, UF Health/Shands, and UF Health Jacksonville were recognized by University of Florida President Kent Fuchs in a ceremony on April 14.

Over the 32-year history of the University of Florida Superior Accomplishment Awards, Joe now joins an extraordinary group of only 460 employees who have been recognized in this way.

Congratulations, Joe! We are so grateful for you and your dedication to our school community!
