Gabrielle Gregory | 2022 Keeper of the Dream Award

January 11, 2022

Gabrielle GregoryCongratulations to P.K. Yonge Senior Gabrielle Gregory on being named the 2020 Edna Hart Keeper of the Dream!

Each year, the King Commission of Florida, founded by the Honorable Rodney J. Long, honors an outstanding student who exemplifies values championed by the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., including academic achievement, civic involvement, leadership and being a well-rounded high school senior.

Gabrielle adds her voice to the conversation about racism and other issues facing young people of color today. She offers an example to others that their voices can be heard regardless of their age. Gabrielle will be recognized and give a speech on Monday, January 17 at 1pm at the Martin Luther King Jr. Day National Holiday Kick-Off Program at Citizen’s Field.

P.K. Yonge has celebrated a number of Keeper of the Dream recipients in the past (Adam Maxwell (2017), Sam Ray (2018), Anthony Hardge (2019), and Spencer Gregory (2020)) and we are so pleased that Gabrielle Gregory (2022) has joined the ranks of this group of exceptional young people!
