High School Art - Harn March 16-April 18

The two shows in these displays represent the work of the our High School Visual Arts Program. The first is a display of the work created by beginning 2D and Ceramics students in the 2019-20 school year just before everything shut down last March due to COVID-19. The second is a display of the beginning 2D and Honors/AP students from the 2020-21 school year, which has been completed during quarantine through the high-flex model with some students in person and some fully virtual. Though the global pandemic has affected us all greatly, the one thing that has bound students together is the ability to express themselves creatively and gain or grow skills in ways some of them never dreamed they’d be capable of. Art is the great unifier and can be the great equalizer. The opportunity to create something beautiful and from the heart is a chance to remember that we are one, and that even apart, we are better together. ~ Brian Moody
