Welcome Back and Mask Language Adjustments
March 27, 2022We are looking forward to seeing everyone back on campus on Monday and hope you have all had a restful and restorative break!
The University of Florida began adjusting language regarding mask use on campus this week, and we will work on implementing these adjustments on the P.K. Yonge campus when we return from Spring Break.
New language indicates that masks are welcome on campus and expresses support for members of the Blue Wave community who wish to continue to wear masks for their safety or the safety of others.
We encourage all members of the community to be sensitive to and patient with the preferences of those around you.
Please know that the university will continue to closely monitor the pandemic. Should the situation change, the university’s current approaches may be modified if deemed to be medically sensible.
Enjoy these last moments of your spring break! We are now in the home stretch and are looking forward to completing the 2021-22 school year with all of you!
