Update: Elementary Building Flooding

March 31, 2021

Many thanks to all elementary families for your patience and understanding as we plan our response to the flooding in our elementary building.

Work has been underway since last night to address the impact of flooding and prepare spaces for instruction as soon as possible. UF, contractors, and civil engineers are working on updates to our construction plans to mitigate potential for future flooding issues.

Important information for our K-5 families is included below.

Conditions on the first floor of the building require that we suspend school and instruction for all students kindergarten through third grade. This means K-3 students will not attend school online or on campus on Thursday, April 1 and Friday, April 2. Families should plan for K-3 students to return to school on Monday, April 5.
