Athletics

All students interested in participating on the 2016-2017 Track and Field Team, please sign up with Coach Chisholm or Coach Kecia Johnson. Pre
season conditioning will start November 28th. Coach Chisholm will be in front of the cafeteria at lunch today. Please stop by and pick up an information sheet. Go Blue Wave!

The Girls Basketball Team is having a fundraiser – they are selling Spirit towels for $15.00 each. If you are interested ask one of the Girls Varsity Basketball players for information.

Good Luck to our Middle School Girls and Boys, JV Girls, and our Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball Teams tonight starting at 4pm.

Clubs

There is a coding club meeting today after school from 3-3:45 in Mr. Holt’s room, Q-506. All skill levels are welcomed.

There is a SADD meeting during HS lunch in Coach Hazan’s room Z-1429.

Students, gather your best original writing of all types and give it to your English teacher or to Mrs. Harrell (J-311), and the literary magazine staff will consider it for publication in the special, expanded 10th anniversary issue of Creeks and Currents. You may submit work from this year or from past years. Deadline for all submissions is Jan 20, 2017, but the sooner the better. Teachers, you can submit any awesome work your students do in your classes as well.

Financial Youth Gainesville will be hosting UF’s Warrington College of Business today from 3 to 4:30 in the PAC. Be in attendance to learn about business majors, pre-requisites that go along with those majors, job salaries that apply to those majors and much more!

Share your artistic talent! Submit your original artwork to be featured on P.K. Yonge and College of Education Holiday Cards to win a HOLIDAY GIFT BASKET filled with goodies. Pick up a copy of the contest rules in your art teachers classroom or download one from the P.K. Yonge Homepage. The deadline to submit artwork is tomorrow.
