To ensure we have adequate space for attendees, please help us by completing the following form: PTO Safety Meeting

In our ongoing efforts to address student safety, this meeting was planned in response to the tragic events that took place at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland. P.K. Yonge administration and representatives from the University of Florida police department will address safety plans and strategies at P.K. Yonge as well as current safety concerns.

Topics will include “See Something, Say Something”; what to look and listen for; how to report for increasing levels of urgency; introduction of the GatorSafe app; taking care of one another; Q&A.

Should you have specific questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Dr. Geiger | cgeiger@pky.ufl.edu | 352.392.1554 x268

NOTE: The March 8th PTO meeting had originally been devoted to discussion about new school construction; this will now be scheduled for the April 12 PTO meeting and reminders will be sent to families ahead of time.
