Senior Drop-By | May 26, 27, 28

May 21, 2020

Senior Drop-By times are scheduled on May 26, 27, 28. Most students have scheduled visits, but if you haven’t already, please schedule your hour-long visit! We are looking forward to seeing you all next week!

To be fair, we ask that students follow their schedules closely and depart at their appointed time so that the next group of seniors has access to campus during their scheduled time.

During these hour-long visits, seniors will complete four activities. Each activity will take approximately 15 minutes and each student will complete them in a different order. Students will be given directions upon arrival.

1. Turn in Items: Chromebooks, textbooks, library books, band instruments and anything else you need to turn in. Please make sure all items to be returned are clearly labeled with your first and last name. Students who have completed their brick projects may turn these in, but they are not due until June 1.

2. Take Pictures: Take photos of your favorite outdoor places on campus.

3. Surprise Activity: Participate in a special surprise activity.

4. Walk Across the Stage in the PAC: Seniors bring caps, gowns and diploma covers. Up to seven (7) family members may come into the PAC to witness their Senior walk across the stage. Families may take video and pictures. Professional photos will be taken.

On-Campus Procedures
Students arrive on campus at their scheduled time and check in with P.K. Yonge staff at the front gate. Directions and a schedule will be provided once you arrive. Each student has a series of stations to visit and it’s important that you follow the order of the stations on your schedule. A maximum of four (4) students with up to seven (7) family members each will be on campus at any given time. All members of a student’s party should be present before they begin their station rotations. Families must stay together at all times.  In an effort to maintain social distancing, families should remain separate for other Seniors’ families.

Masks and Social Distancing
Based on guidance released from the University of Florida, masks or cloth face coverings are required on the UF and P.K. Yonge campus unless a 6ft distance may be maintained between individuals, both indoors and outdoors. If unable to maintain this social distance, visitors may be asked to put on masks or face coverings or to leave the area.
