School Day Campus Access Changes

October 7, 2021

In anticipation of another step forward in the revitalization of our school campus in the near future, access to campus during the school day will change beginning on Monday, October 11. 

 

**Pick-up and drop-off procedures remain the same (see details)**
Stay tuned for updates to pick-up and drop-off in the near future.

 

After 9:00am*
Family members/essential visitors check in
at the WEST ENTRANCE Guard Booth with a state-issued ID.
WEST ENTRANCE: 1080 SW 11th Street (old elementary circle)

The Main Entrance (1200 SW 6th Street) pedestrian gate will be LOCKED.
The Main Office will NOT be accessible via the Main Entrance after 9:00am.

*No Visitor Access to Campus the Following Times*
(Policies limiting access to campus to essential visitors are still in effect)
Mon., Tue., Wed., Thu., Fri:   7:30-8:00am
Mon., Tue., Thu., Fri:  2:00-3:00pm
Wed:  12:15-1:15pm

 

 

Late Check-In (after 9am) – ALL FAMILIES – Enter via WEST Entrance
Check in with the Gate Guard with a state-issued ID..
Follow the Gate Guard’s directions for parking.

ELEMENTARY – Parents/guardians park vehicles as directed by the gate guard, walk students to the Main Office (Secondary Building) for check in.

SECONDARY – Parents/guardians drop students off as directed by the gate guard, students check in at the Main Office (Secondary Building). Student drivers arriving after 8:00am, enter the West Entrance, stop at Guard House.

 

Early Check-Out – ALL FAMILIES – Enter via WEST Entrance
Email attendance@pky.ufl.edu regarding early check out.
Check in with the Gate Guard with a state-issued ID.
Follow the Gate Guard’s directions for parking.

ELEMENTARY:
Parents/guardians check students out in person in the Main Office (Secondary Building).

SECONDARY:
If email has been sent to attendance@pky.ufl.edu prior to check out, students check out at the Main Office (Secondary Building) and meet parents/guardians in the parking lot. Student drivers check out at the Main Office (Secondary Building), proceed to their vehicles, show their pass to the Gate Guard as they exit the West Gate.

If email has NOT been sent to attendance@pky.ufl.edu prior to check out,
parents/guardians park vehicles as directed by the gate guard, walk to the Main Office (Secondary Building) to check students out in person. Students drivers may not check out until their parent/guardian sends an email to attendance@pky.ufl.edu.

Elementary Drop-Off: 7:30-8:00am (Mon., Tue., Wed., Thu., Fri)
 Elementary Pick-Up: 2:00-3:00pm (Mon., Tue., Thu., Fri) &  12:15-1:15pm (Wed)
