School Closed March 16-27

Based on a directive to all Florida school districts issued by Commissioner of Education Richard Corcoran late this afternoon, P.K. Yonge will extend spring break by a week.

School will be closed March 16-30.

Campus facilities and vehicles will undergo deep cleaning during this time.

There will be no school for students, and, unfortunately we are unable to provide childcare due to necessary campus cleaning.

At this time, the plan is for students to return to campus on Monday, March 30.

Existing plans in place for the possibility of remote instruction will be modified to accommodate the March 16 closure.
Detailed information regarding device and resource pick up for students K-5 will be forthcoming.

We recognize that school closure will create difficulties for families, but according to CDC recommendations, these steps are required to help safeguard faculty, student, staff, and community health and wellbeing.
