PSAT 8/9 for 8th Grade, 2/27
February 5, 2019In an effort to help students develop knowledge, skills, and understandings that research identifies as most important for college and career readiness and success, we are pleased to announce that all P.K. Yonge 8th grade students will be taking the PSAT 8/9 on February 27th.
The PSAT 8/9 is a test designed for students in 8th and 9th grades and provides information for students and families regarding college and career readiness. Results from the PSAT also helps teachers understand how to best support students as they progress through secondary school. Through P.K. Yonge’s partnership with College Board, the PSAT 8/9 is being offered free of charge for all students.
Date: Wednesday, February 27
Time: Beginning of the regular school day
Length: 2.5 hours
Cost: FREE
Location: On the P.K. Yonge campus
On the day of the test, students will come to school as if it were a regular school day. Exact locations and specific information regarding the PSAT 8/9 will be shared with students and families prior to the test.
