Marcus McDonald – Assistant Principal

Members of the P.K. Yonge community will know him as Mr. McDonald, Middle School Computer Science Teacher or as Coach Mac, Head Football Coach (2018 – 2021). Now, P.K. Yonge is pleased to announce the appointment of Marcus McDonald as Assistant Principal/School Safety Administrator.
As a self-confessed “learning nut” with a well-rounded educational and instructional background, McDonald’s excellent coaching record and diverse interests and skills are a welcome addition to P.K. Yonge leadership.
In this new role, Marcus will be responsible for leadership in school safety and school improvement effectiveness. His work will include striving for equity in educational opportunity and academic achievement, assisting in establishing and maintaining a safe and effective learning climate, and developing and establishing school improvement goals and objectives. In this role, Marcus will also serve as P.K. Yonge’s state-required School Safety Administrator.
