Inquiry Research Symposium

September 23, 2019

On Friday, September 20th the annual P.K. Yonge Inquiries and Investigations Symposium took place on campus.

The Inquiries and Investigations Symposium, hosted in September of each year in partnership with the University of Florida College of Education, is the culminating event for research work carried out by P.K. Yonge faculty. This event also provides the opportunity for P.K. Yonge and College of Education faculty to share work, find points of commonality, and collaborate on important questions impacting students, schools, and teachers today.

P.K. Yonge faculty select and refine research topics that grow from questions they identify about their own teaching practices and student learning. The work, carried out through a formalized action research process, can be undertaken by individuals, groups, and collaborative partnerships between P.K. Yonge and the College of Education.

P.K. Yonge faculty research efforts and collaboration with University of Florida faculty are the very essence of P.K. Yonge’s work as a developmental research school. Our mission is to design, test, and disseminate innovations in K-12 education through serving a diverse student community.  The Inquiries and Investigation Symposium supports a day of learning and collaboration as defined by our school’s mission.
