Happy Spring from your PKYPTO!

We have some fun stuff going on this spring, and we want you to join in!  Here’s how you can be involved in, or support the PTO and our school:

Regular PTO Meetings are on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30pm. This spring, PTO has teamed up with P.K. administration to present updates & answer questions about the exciting Middle & High School Renovation.  The project begins this summer, so join us at our meetings for the latest information in addition to regular PTO business, such as…

Teacher Appreciation Week – May 7-11, 2018
Show our wonderful teachers & staff how much we love them! Each day of this week, the PTO will leave a different small gift in teachers’ and staff members’ boxes.

PKY PTO Amazon Wish List  <<< parents only– no peeking, teachers!  On Wednesday of Teacher Appreciation Week, the PTO treats teachers and staff to a luncheon and chance drawing prizes.  The Garden of Eatery will once again be providing food, and we would love to have sponsors to help cover the luncheon costs.  If you or someone (a business?) you know would like to sponsor the luncheon, or sponsor prizes for chance drawing giveaways, please contact Catherine Cake at gatorcat@myself.com.

Carnival

We are already planning NEXT FALL’s CARNIVAL!!!!  Although we don’t have the date yet, we are seeking people who are interested in taking one of several lead roles that are vital to the continuation of this wonderful tradition.

Some of these roles include:

• Chance Drawing and Silent Auction Coordinator
• Sponsorship Coordinator
• Layout & Logistics Coordinator
• Games & Rentals Coordinator
• …and many more volunteer opportunities at various levels of commitment and time.

Did we mention that coordinators & volunteers earn FREE CARNIVAL TICKETS?!?!?!?!?
