Good morning, Blue Wave. Today is Friday, April 27th and it is a B Day!

Today is Y Day, which means you should be wearing the color yellow. Monday is X day, be sure to wear wear clothing with bones like an x-ray.

We would like to thank our students that helped with the cleaning of our school on April 25 as a celebration of Earth Day. This activity was sponsored by the High School UNICEF Club. We had 14 students that volunteer their time.

Congratulations to our Varsity Baseball team for their 13-0 win over St. Francis last night. Special high fives to the Seniors and Coach Brunson on an awesome Senior Night. We wish them the best of luck in their quarterfinal game at 4 PM on Monday in Keystone Heights. Go Blue Wave Baseball!

Thanks to everyone who showed up to the ALERT training yesterday at the gym. We hope it served to remind you that drinking and driving is very dangerous. Shane Kennard and Justus McCoy, please stop by the office to claim your gift card from Dr. Geiger. You won the drawing!

Congratulations to Ivan and Kendrick Esguerra for advancing to the tennis state championship tournament. Good luck on Monday!

Congratulations also to the following track and field members for advancing to the state track and field meet next weekend: Tyler Jordan in the 110m high hurdles and the 300m hurdles, Coleman Tadrowski in the mile, and Lee Ducharme, Zuriel Reed, JaNelle Morant and Jayda Teasley in the girls 4 x 100m relay. Good luck next weekend!

Health Smart Tip of the Day: Eat a healthy breakfast every morning! It is known as “The most important meal of the day” because it helps to give your brain energy for thinking and learning. Eating a healthy breakfast can give you more energy, help you pay attention better in school, and help you eat healthier throughout the day.
