eLearning Days for Grades 8-12
July 9, 2024P.K. Yonge is looking forward to the 2024-25 school year and some new and exciting program improvements. One component of our Academic Calendar is the inclusion of eLearning Days for our 8-12 grade secondary students.
eLearning Days are designed to provide a designated time for students to engage in their academic tasks independent from their instructors.
At P.K. Yonge, we’ve invested in high quality technology tools and digital resources to allow students to have access to course assignments, practice tools, and course materials anytime and anywhere. As students mature as independent learners, we want them to build skills for working independently toward their academic goals. During once-a-month eLearning days, students are expected to access their courses through Canvas Learning Management System and continue working on school tasks, assignments, and practice. Teachers will provide support and direction to students in advance of each eLearning Day so students and parents have a clear understanding of what students should be working on while away from campus.
8th-12th grade students WILL NOT report to P.K. Yonge campus on eLearning Days.
