Testing

Students in Grades 6-10 will be taking the FAST ELA Reading PM1 assessment tomorrow, Thursday, September 14th. Please check with your advisory teacher if you do not know where to report for testing tomorrow morning. Also, make sure that you bring both your Chromebook and your charger for testing.

Gaming Club 

Come join us at Gaming Club! We have many tabletop and card games available for students. 

We have: Uno, Azul, Harry Potter Trivia, Skull King, Sushi Go!, Unstable Unicorns and other games.

We also have Magic the Gathering commander decks available to play.

Try something new and hang out with friends while having fun.

 Gaming club is open to all high school and middle school students.

Mondays after school on 1st floor Green, room 132.

Lunch Reminders

Please remember that when you are at lunch, you do not enter the commons to use the restrooms or get water. Please ask a Lunch supervisor to give you access to the restroom located at the back of the administrative wing. A water bottle filler is available in the west side of the cafeteria.  Mrs. V has been instructed not to let you in during lunch.

MS Dungeons and Dragons

Calling all middle school adventurers, paladins, wizards, and dungeon masters! If you are interested in Dungeons and Dragons, fantasy, and collaborative storytelling, stop by Ms. Miley’s room on Thursday, September 14th at 2:45 for the first Dungeons and Dragons Club interest meeting. No experience required, dice provided! We will see you there!

MC Auditions

Attention all upperclass men! Student government will be holding MC auditions today and Thursday after school first floor green at 2:45. If you would like to be a MC for peprallies and lead student sections this year please come an audition.”

DECA

Please come and be a part of DECA Wednesday during lunch. Great things are planned for this year. See you Wednesday in Mrs. Webber / Mrs. Henry’s class!

BSU

PSA if you are interested in Black Student Union, the club is open to all students. Also the application deadline has been extended until Friday September 15th, and the writing portion is now considered optional. If you have any questions or need an application, please ask one of the council staff: Mya Tisdale, Naria James, Leah Ashley, Caleb Little, Ciara Madison or Eriel Ford.

National English Honors Society

The first national English Honors Society meeting will be held on 9/14 at 2:40pm in Mrs. Franklin’s room 336 green and any students in grades 11-12 interested in learning more should attend. 

UNICEF

Unicef club members please see Mrs. Santiago this Tuesday September 12 during lunch. 

Unicef will have a bake sale this Thursday and Friday after school to help the children of Morocco. 

Fidget Toy Sales

The high school robotics team will be selling 3D printed fidgets from September 12th to September 22nd. These fidgets include an infinity cube for $5 or you can purchase a fish, alligators, or T-rex for $1 each. They can be purchased at lunch, just outside of the N-Wing near Art and Spanish,  or after school near the secondary pick-up area. All proceeds support our high school robotics teams. Your support is appreciated!

Health Science Club 

Would you like to learn how to improve hearing and balance problems?  If you are interested please join us this Friday after school at 2:40 pm for the second event of the Health Science Club.  Dr. Jennifer Aranda, an audiologist and PK alum will be our guest speaker.  Hope to see you this Friday!
