Today is Wednesday, September 19th, and it is a B Day.

Welcome to Homecoming Week! Today is Decades Day Wednesday.  Tomorrow is Spirit Thursday. Remember to come to the cafeteria for a picture at 8 AM each morning if you are competing to win the prize for the best themed costume.  To vote for the best faculty costume, go to the Student Government Twitter account and click the link. Dime wars will be going on this week.  Help your grade level win a pizza party.

The High Tide Pep Rally will take place in the PAC on Wednesday at 7pm. Get your $5 Tickets in the Business Office.  Tickets at the door will be cash only.

The Homecoming Dance will start at 9pm Friday and end at 11:30pm. Purchase your  $10 ticket in the business office. The dance is semi-formal.

The Rosa Rabell scholarship application is DUE by October 12, 2018 before 12:00 pm.  See Mrs. Santiago for more information.

All 10th, 11th, and 12th grade Tri-M music honor society members, there will be a meeting TOMORROW during high school lunch in Dr. Harris room A-104 in the PAC. We will elect officers and discuss our service projects for this year.

All UNICEF members our meeting has been moved to TOMORROW during lunch. Please plan accordingly.

National Art Honor Society meets TOMORROW during High School lunch in Mr. Moody’s room.

At the Powder Puff Game yesterday, there were LOTS of students without water bottles.  This is Florida, people! You should have a water bottle with you at all times, everywhere you go!  Keep yourself hydrated.

All boys and girls interested in playing in the Middle School Soccer Team should come to room M345 (Dr. De Leon) TODAY during lunch (11:55-12:25). Bring your lunch with you.

Gainesville will celebrate International Day of Peace on 9/21 from 4-7 PM, highlighting the “Empowered Voices of Youth.” Come and hear the voices of our youth through songs, poetry, stories, see their art and watch their dance as they express the hope and vision for our future both locally and the world over.  There will be an international flag ceremony, so march with us along University Avenue.
