Announcements, Wednesday 5/8

May 8, 2019

Today is Wednesday, May 8th and it is an A Day.

Did you know that the performing arts department is offering a strings class next year?  Any student in 6-12th grade may enroll in the class for the 2019-2020 school year. This is a class that is scheduled during the school day, NOT an afterschool club.   You do NOT need to have any experience to join our class. The strings class will have a place for beginners, young musicians, and experienced string players. See Mrs. Burg is you have any questions.

Seniors, please remember to fill out a “Final” transcript request form and turn in to Mrs. Flinchum or Ms. Bryen to have your transcript sent to the College you are going to attend.

Seniors! If you enjoyed U-Day and would like to participate in a similar event with parents, family members, and friends, the Greater Gainesville Chamber is having a signing day on May 10th from 7 PM-9 PM at Celebration Point. If you would like to participate, please see Ms. Bryen for the link or contact Ian Fletcher at ian@gainesvillechamber.com

Students traveling to Costa Rica with the Rosa Rabell scholarship, please remember that you are meeting with Mrs. Santiago after school in her classroom for your practice and to review for your test from CPI. The meetings are every Tuesday and Thursday after school from 3:00-4:00.

Today is Q day for the Z-A countdown; hopefully you dressed like a queen. Tomorrow is P Day: Pajama Day!

The entire Z-A list can be found on the website under announcements.
