School Counseling:
The January Scholarship Newsletter is available! There are many scholarships for seniors particularly, so please visit the PK Yonge website or the School Counseling Twitter to take a look.
Attention Seniors if you are planning on attending Santa Fe College in the Fall and are interested in scholarship money, Mrs. Rose Christy, the Scholarship Coordinator in the Office of Advancement at Santa Fe College, will be available on 1/29 during Power Hour in the library to assist students with the Santa Fe Scholarship Foundation Application. This is extremely important because these applications are due February 15th.
Power Hour:
Students participating in the World Language Competition in Tallahassee this Saturday must meet with Ms. Rodriguez everyday during Power Hour for the rest of the week.
The Black Student Union is meeting in Ms. Boehm’s room on Friday during Power Hour. Please bring your lunch and be prepared to work.
The Great Kindness Challenge is here!! You are being challenged to perform as many kind deeds as you can this week. Please participate! Make your friends and schoolmates smile! Stop by Acts of Random Kindness Club’s table today during lunch and power hour to learn more! Sign up for a kindness button at our table. Contribute “kind coins” to help rebuild playgrounds that were destroyed by hurricanes. Walk away with a list of kindness challenges.

Athletics:
MS baseball tryouts will be held Friday, 1/26 at 3:30. JV and Varsity tryouts will be on Monday January 29th @ 3:30.
