Announcements, Wednesday

January 17, 2018

Good morning, Blue Wave.  Today is Wednesday, January 17th and it is a 1-6 Day!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Teachers, please remember to have your first period students complete the SAC survey immediately following announcements while completing the faculty version of the survey yourselves.  Links to the surveys were sent in an email from Dr. Geiger yesterday; the student survey link is also available on the announcements page of the school website.  Your honest feedback will inform our planning moving forward.

Love seafood? Come to the Marine Science fish fry! It’s happening from 3–6 p.m. THIS Sunday at Northwest Seafood.  Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased from Ms. Andrews (in O-362) or any Marine Science Club member. Help us fund our trip to the Keys!

Hello all middle and high school students!

Your school counselors would like to remind you about the process for making an appointment to see us.  Here are the steps:

  1. Come to entrance of the counseling office, which is located on the side of the main office near the outside stairs.
  2. Make a left after entering and you will see the program assistant’s desk.
  3. There are pink “request for an appointment” forms on top of the desk.
  4. Fill out a form.
  5. The Program assistant will give the form to the appropriate counselor.
  6. The counselor will schedule an appointment and then send a pass.

Please make an appointment to see your school counselor whenever you have an issue, concern, question, need a little assistance or just want to talk.

The January Scholarship Newsletter is available! There are many scholarships for seniors particularly, so please visit the PK Yonge website or the School Counseling Twitter to take a look.
