Good morning, Blue Wave.  Today is Wednesday, November 1^st and it is a B Day!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The PKY PTO Annual Fall Carnival is this Friday and we need your help!  The PTO has volunteer opportunities for High School students this Friday, November 3^rd at the North Elementary Field from 2:35pm-7:30pm.  You can earn up to 5 hours while having fun with your friends.  Please sign up using the sign up genius that you can find attached to this announcement on the PKY website!

ATTENTION SENIORS: yearbook needs your help gathering some important information! Head the PKY announcements page where you will find a link to submit your Senior Quote, Baby Photo, and Senior Superlative Nominations. We will need all submissions completed before fall break. Please join the Hispanic Honor Society during TEC day after school tomorrow. They will be selling Taquitos, Empanadas and Croquetas (they also have vegetarian empanadas).

School Counseling:

The November Scholarship Newsletter is available! There are many scholarships for seniors, so please visit the PK Yonge website or the School Counseling Twitter to take a look.

Power Hour:

All students participating in the Poetry Out Loud Contest. Please see Mrs. Santiago tomorrow during Power Hour.

Athletics:

Basketball cheer try-outs for anyone grades 9-12 are today and tomorrow from 3:45-4:45pm. Please meet outside of J-wing.  For try-out packets please see Coach Barrett.
