Good morning! Today is Wednesday, September 8th

Students are reminded that everyone is required to bring their school ID with them each day. Those of you who do not have one will be issued one after picture day at the end of the month.

Mr. Moody’s High school Art Club will be meeting  each Tuesday in N-371 after school until 3:30. Come for some fun open studio time and art making with friends!

National Art Honor Society will meet each Thursday during lunch in Mr. Moody’s room.

 Any high school student who loves science is welcome to join the high school Science Olympiad team! Students interested in joining Science Olympiad should plan to attend our first meeting on Monday, September 13 after school in Mrs. Davis’s Classroom, Room 330.

All new and current UNICEF club please join us for our meeting this Friday during lunch in room L-356.

All members of the Hispanic Honor society please attend our meeting this Wednesday during lunch in room L356.

The Middle School Art Club begins this Thursday after school. Send Ms. Johnson an email if you would like to join! 2:30 – 3:15 in the Middle School Art Room

Thespians!

Our first social event of the year will be attending the show, MURDER FOR TWO at the Hippodrome Theater in Gainesville on September 23rd. Make sure you have your ticket money to Ms. Snyder no later than September 17th!

Any middle or high school student who is interested in joining the Climate Action Club is welcome to attend our next meeting, which will be on Thursday, September 9 after school in Mrs. Davis’s classroom, Room 330. We hope to see you there!

Now, more than ever, we need to develop young leaders who are prepared to handle the many challenges our communities face.  The River Phoenix Center for Peacebuilding is offering a 360 Youth Empowerment program for 9th-12th graders.  This is a series of free engaging experiential classes focusing on leadership, personal development, and skill-building to support your leadership and personal goals. At the conclusion of our program, youth will present their learning, dreams, and ideas for the community.  To find out more go to www.centerforpeacebuilding.org
