Good morning! Today is Wednesday, January 19th.

 Attention to all students who made clay projects with Ms. Johnson before the Winter Holiday. We are ready to paint them! Please plan on coming to Ms. Johnson’s room tomorrow after school.

 “Do Ya Like Jazz?” There will be a Jazz Band Interest Meeting this Wednesday, January 19th right after school in the band room. Jazz band is open for students in grades 8-12 and we are looking for people who play piano, guitar, bass guitar, and drums. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask Mr. Marski. We hope to see you there!

 Congratulations to the middle school boys’ basketball team who defeated Interlachen 41-30 last night. Good luck to the boys and girls middle school teams on Thursday at Fort White.

Congratulations to the varsity girls’ soccer team who defeated Williston 9-0 last night on senior night. Good luck on Friday when you play Florida High at 5pm.

Congratulations to the varsity boys’ soccer team who defeated Williston 5-3 last night. Good luck on Friday versus Florida High at 7pm

 Attention Thespians! Bring in $10 TODAY  to see AS YOU LIKE IT at The Hippodrome Theatre in Gainesville on 1/27!

 “Any Middle or High School girls interested in playing softball this spring we will have tryouts on Monday, January 24th from 3:30-5. You must have an athletic physical on file with Coach Barrett before the tryout date. Please email Coach Ryan at rstewart@pky.ufl.edu with any questions or concerns.”

 Seniors looking for scholarships! Clay electric’s Youth Scholarship is out and ready for you! Come to the front office to pick up an application and ensure it is submitted by April 4th. Also, The Santa Fe Foundation Scholarship Application for 2022-2023 is now open! The priority date is February 15, 2022.  This priority date is for high school seniors only; this cycle has less competition for scholarships. Santa Fe typically has 125-150 scholarships to award for this cycle.  For the 2022-2023 academic year they have over $1 million to award deserving eligible students. Most of the scholarships are for Alachua and Bradford Counties students. Seniors, go apply!”
