Senior Pictures

Listen up, Seniors! Please take your cap and gown picture by 12:30. 

At the end of 3rd period, please come to the top practice field for the Class of 2025 field photo. You can pick your lunch up first and then meet us up there. Lifers – you will take your photo after the field photo.

FAFSA Help 

FAFSA Help at Santa Fe College TODAY from 5-7pm 

The Gainesville Chamber Foundation and its local partners have launched the Cash for College campaign to promote Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completion as students and their families make plans for education beyond high school. THIS EVENING at Santa Fe College 5-7pm. Register on the Gainesville Chamber Foundation website. 

Congrats MS Girls Basketball

Congratulations to the girls middle school basketball team for winning their first playoff game last night. PKY girls MS beat Suwannee MS 30-11. Job well done ladies!

Congrats HOSA

HOSA club members will be meeting after school on Friday, January 31st in Green 330. Congratulations to PK’s Regional HOSA competitors: 

  • Behavioral Health:  2nd Place Rachel Mundorf
  • Sports Medicine: 2nd Place Sofia Ochoa Odgers
  • World Health & Disparities: 3rd Place Hasi Tumati & 4th Place Jaxon Ortiz-Guidry
  • Nursing Assistance: Raya Omondi 
  • Those placing 1st-3rd place will represent the PK chapter in Orlando for State competition. 

Girls Basketball Student Night 

We’re excited to announce our Fan Appreciation and Student Night at the Girls Basketball game TONIGHT! This is the last home game of the season, and we want to pack out the gym to support our team. Students will get in for free, and there will be a special halftime announcement to show our appreciation for our amazing fans. Come out and cheer on the team! TIP off will be at 7:00 PM.

HS Valentine’s Dance

Attention high school! Student Government and National Honors Society are hosting a Valentine’s dance Friday, February 7th, 7:00pm to 10:00pm in the courtyard. The dance is for high school only. Cost is $10 this week and goes up to $15 next week and is $20 at the door. Ticketing information can be found on flyers around campus or in the PKY Student Government instagram page. Can’t wait to see you there!

MS Valentine’s Dance

Hey Middle Schoolers! Tri-M is hosting a Valentine’s dance on Valentine’s Day for 6th through 8th grade PK Students on Friday, Feb 14th, from 6-8 pm.  The Dance will be hosted in the outdoor cafe area.  Tickets will be on sale for $10 each on the Hometown Ticketing app. Hope to see you there!

Seniors – please remember to check your senior newsletter and senior key dates through the high school canvas course under “seniors”, or on the website under “senior corner”. There are details about the upcoming cap and gown pictures, senior ads in the yearbook, and scholarship opportunities.

Well, pick up a permission slip today in the front office. Be the first of 50 to return the signed permission slip and register with the QR code on the flyer on the office window.
