Words of Wisdom

Dignity is a word we don’t hear very much in our day-to-day conversations. But perhaps we should. It has its roots in a Latin word which means worthy. And we know and believe that all human beings are worthy of certain dignities and rights, such as the right to equal justice, free speech and religious tolerance. Our Bill of Rights protects these types of freedoms. It was once said that safeguarding the rights of others is the most noble and beautiful end of a human being. So, today, stop and consider what you are doing to safeguard the rights of others – in what ways are you treating all people with respect, fairness, and tolerance? With something to think about, make it a great day. The choice is yours!
