Today is Tuesday, May 21st and it is a B Day.

Middle School National Junior Honor Society Members please check your Canvas Inbox for an email from Mrs. Beckett explaining our last meeting.

We’ll see you TOMORROW during lunch in Mrs. Beckett’s room I-109.

This week the students traveling to China will be walking around during middle and high school lunch with a jar filled with jelly beans.  All students interested in winning the jelly bean jar will pay $1 to guess the number of jelly beans in the jar. We will announce the winner Friday.  Please support our students traveling to China with this fundraising activity.

The deadline for submitting National Honor Society applications has been extended. Students who were invited to apply must submit their completed applications to Dr. Weller by TODAY, at 2:30 pm.

There will be a Cross Country interest meeting for the 2019 season on Thursday May 23rd at 2:15pm in Coach Kovach’s portable Z-1153.  Anyone who is interested in running, come check out the meeting, no experience necessary.

As you may or may not know, this will be my last year teaching school.  As a result, some of you may not get to know me, get your touch stones, or see me when you are a senior….  SO! Students, Faculty, Staff, Seniors, Pre- Seniors and Anybody else that knows me, wants to know me or won’t get the chance to receive your touch stones from Dr. Allison… Y’all COME ON DOWN and Visit me in M-347 To GET YOUR END OF THE YEAR GIFT!  I look forward to seeing YOU!

Seniors, please remember to fill out a “Final” transcript request form and turn in to Mrs. Flinchum or Ms. Bryen to have your transcript sent to the College you are going to attend.

Campaigning for Student Council offices continues today. Please respectfully campaign for your accepted offices until Friday, May 24th using flyers, posters, and social media. Remember—you cannot change the office that you are running for after TODAY. All speeches should have been shared as a google doc by last Friday, May 17th. Campaign speeches for 9th through 11th grade will take place in the PAC. 8th grade speeches will take place during the 8th grade breakfast. Grade level speeches, in the PAC, will take place in the following order: 10th grade on Tuesday, May 21st during 6th period, and 11th grade on Tuesday, May 21st during 5th period. The Cade Museum for Creativity & Invention is still seeking summer camp volunteers for camp on July 15-19 and July 22-26. Volunteers help to make camp an enriching experience for all by helping students with activities and assisting camp teachers. All student library books are due back by Friday, May 24th.  Mrs. Koppitch has sent out notices to students who need to return books.  All fines will be waived if materials are returned.

ATTENTION SENIORS: The date of the Final Wave Walk will take place TODAY.  You will pick up regalia during lunch. Please gather near the cafeteria at 1:45 today to begin your final Wave Walk.

Students traveling to Costa Rica with the Rosa Rabell scholarship, please remember that you are meeting with Mrs. Santiago after school in her classroom for your practice and to review for your test from CPI. The meetings are every Tuesday and Thursday after school from 3:00-4:00.

Attention Seniors,

Please come to the front office to review the final version of your graduation contract. Please review for edits in spelling and minor additions or changes. A copy will be with Ms. Bryen. Contracts will be available for review until the end of the day TODAY.

Today is H day for the Z-A countdown; hopefully you wore a hat or dressed like a hero. Tomorrow is G Day: Wear green, dress like a grandparent

Concert attire return is OVERDUE!  IF YOU HAVE NOT RETURNED YOUR: tux, dress, character shoes, garment bag, or any items loaned to you by Ms. Harris or Ms. Snyder, you are LATE!

Return your items ASAP so you are not CHARGED a FEE!

To everyone who supported Acts of Random Kindness Club’s recent Bake Sale: Thank you so much!!  We raised $116.00, all of which will be used to help build a health clinic in Liberia.
