March 6, 2018

Good morning, Blue Wave.  Today is Tuesday, March 6th and it is a B Day!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Come and see who has talent at PKY! Who will be PK Idol 2018?  Will Mr. Moody remain the champion, or will he be defeated? Come find out this Wednesday, March 7th at 6:30 PM.  $5 at the door gets you in.  Your spare change determines the winner!

There will be a pep bus tomorrow for the Boys Basketball team to support them in the State Semi-Final game.  The first 38 kids who bring $13 to sign up with Coach Barrett will be allowed to go on the bus to Lakeland. The bus will depart PKY at 7 AM and return around 4 PM.

Attention students, faculty & staff: Please mark your calendars for March 16th 7 PM for the Baketball Cop Foundation’s 3rd Annual High School Allstar game being held at Buchholz High School.  Come cheer on our own Allstars – Tony Garner and Will Banks – as they attempt to beat the cops for a third straight year.  The cops team is pretty confident this year, so our guys could use your support.

Anyone interested in playing football should come meet Coach McDonald on Tuesday, March 13th at 3:30pm in the weight room.

PKY Softball plays Palatka at 6pm.  Please come out and support the team.

During Power Hour today, Mrs. Ireland and Mr. Polanco-Lopez are available to meet with middle school students who may need support related to our school safety assembly. Please ask your 5th grade teacher to write a pass for you to get across the bridge.

This will be the last session before presentation day. Best wishes to all of our seniors on Presentation Day this Thursday!
