Good morning, Blue Wave.  Today is Tuesday, February 27th and it is an A Day!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

There will be a pep bus going to the girls’ state semi-final basketball game on Wednesday, Feb. 28th. The bus will leave at 7am and the cost to get into the game is $13.  Please see Coach Barrett with your ticket money to secure your spot to cheer on the team!

 

The Pennies for Patients Campaign continues until the end of this month.  Every donation makes a difference!  Donations help families of cancer patients pay for medicines, doctor visits and other treatment-related expenses.  Keep up your generosity with Pennies for Patients campaign!

 

The outside café will be open for biscuit break. There will be one line open outside and two lines open inside The same food options will be available as inside except slushie’s and frozen items, those will remain inside.

 

Do you think you have talent? Want to show the community your skills? Are you the next PK Idol?  Polish up your act and take it to the stage here in the PAC on March 7th!  Space is limited, see Ms. Snyder to sign up TODAY! You could be crowned the next PK Idol!

 

Seniors:

There are two new scholarship opportunities added to the Scholarship Newsletter. One is a chance at rent-free housing and the other is for African American females that have at least a 3.0 GPA. Please visit the School Counseling website or Twitter to take advantage!

 

Power Hour:

Due to the Elementary Black History Month assemblies, the library will be closed during Power Hour today. Thank you for your patience.

 

There will be a Key Club meeting today in Ms. Andrews’ room during Power Hour.  All members, please plan to attend, and please be prompt.
