Clubs
There will be a Key Club meeting today during high school lunch in Ms. Andrews’ room O-362. Photographers will be here to take our group picture for the yearbook. All members, please plan to attend, and please be ON TIME.
There will be a SADD meeting on Thursday during HS lunch in Coach Hazan’s room Z-1429.

Students, gather your best original writing of all types and give it to your English teacher or to Mrs. Harrell (J-311), and the literary magazine staff will consider it for publication in the special, expanded 10th anniversary issue of Creeks and Currents. You may submit work from this year or from past years. Deadline for all submissions is Jan 20, 2017, but the sooner the better. Teachers, you can submit any awesome work your students do in your classes as well.
Financial Youth Gainesville will be hosting UF’s Warrington College of Business on Thursday, November 17th from 3 to 4:30 in the PAC. Be in attendance to learn about business majors, pre-requisites that go along with those majors, job salaries that apply to those majors and much more!
Fundraising
Students help support our China Trip 2017 during our Pizza Contest this week until Thursday. The winner will get a large pizza, cheese or pepperoni. Please come to Mr. Magura’s room K-330 or see a student who is going on the trip to buy a ticket. The ticket will have a Geography question about China on it that you must answer correctly in order to be entered into the contest.
The Girls Basketball Team is having a fundraiser – they are selling Spirit towels for $15.00 each. If you are interested ask one of the Girls Varsity Basketball players for information.
Performing Arts
Winter guard auditions are today in the band room from 3:15 to 5. Auditions are open to all middle school and high school students!
French Spirit Day on Thursday: Wear the French flag colors: red, white and blue. A gift card will be given to students that show the most French Spirit Day on Thursday.

Pick up a copy of the contest rules in your art teachers classroom or download one from the P.K. Yonge Homepage. The deadline to submit artwork is November 18.
