Announcements, Tuesday, 11/27

Today is Tuesday  November 27th and it is a B Day.

All members of Poetry Out Loud please remember that it is mandatory to be at our rehearsal during lunch on Thursday, November 29. Our competition to select our school representative will be on December 6th after school. Please see Mrs. Santiago if you have questions.

The Fall Thespian Showcase will be this Thursday in the P.A.C.

Come out to see your favorite Thespian perform their piece for district Thespian competition! $5 at the door, 7:00 performance

The middle school Science Olympiad team will meet TODAY until 3 pm in Dr. Cordero’s room, I–112.

High school art club will not meet today.

ASL club has been moved to Wednesdays during lunch. Photos for the Yearbook will be taken this Wednesday during the club meeting.

National Art Honor Society will take its club photo this Thursday during the meeting.

High school OM teams will take yearbook photos this Friday after school. Meet at Mr. Moody’s classroom.

Attention BSU members – there is a meeting after school in Mr. Miller’s room TODAY.  Please come ready to work on the program.

Key Club will meet today during high school lunch in Ms. Andrews’ room (O-362).  We are getting our picture taken for the yearbooks, and planning the Student-Faculty basketball game. All members, please plan to attend, and please be prompt.

​Marine Science Club members: Please turn in your coupon books and orders to Ms. Andrews as soon as possible!  ALL books must be returned or paid for.

National Junior Honor Society Members – we will meet this FRIDAY in Mrs. Beckett’s room during lunch.  Please bring your lunch and your ideas for our next service project to our meeting this FRIDAY during lunch.

This afternoon we will have a pep rally to kick off our winter sports, soccer and basketball. The pep rally will be for both Middle and High School and will run from 1:40-2:15.   PLEASE NOTE: So that you are able to attend all of your B day classes, we will follow the same time schedule that we follow on Wednesdays — the bells have been reset to ring at the Wednesday times — at least we hope this happens! Rather than dismissal at 1:40, you will report to the gym for the pep rally.  You will be dismissed from the gym. Middle school students will sit on the southside bleachers; high school students will sit on the northside bleachers. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Lightbourne.
