Good morning! Today is Tuesday, October 12th.

Girls Varsity Soccer tryouts will take place on Monday, October 18th and Tuesday, October 19th from 3:00-5:15pm on the Top Field at PKY.  Participants must bring their own water bottle and wear athletic clothing, shin guards and cleats to participate. FHSAA forms must be turned in before the tryouts. All of this info and more details can be found on the PKY website, Athletics page, under Girls Soccer.

 The PKY Boys Soccer program will hold tryouts for the JV & Varsity programs on Oct. 18 & Oct. 19, 6pm to 8pm at the school top field. Final rosters will be announced on social media on Wednesday, Oct. 20 in the morning. Look for pkyboyssoccer in Instagram, Facebook & Twitter.

 Mr. Moody’s High School Art club is cancelled for today.

Teachers, please check the Flu-mist and COVID 19 vaccination schedule in your email. Students will need to be released to the PAC at their specified time

 High school Science Olympiad will meet on Monday, after school in Mrs. Davis’s Room, room 330. Any student who is interested in joining Science Olympiad is welcome to attend.

Climate Action Club will meet at a new time this week. Club members and any high school student interested in Climate Action Club should plan to attend our meeting during high school lunch on Wednesday, October 13 by the benches under the oak tree. We hope to see you there!

 All 9th graders will be taking the PSAT tomorrow at 8:00 am. Here are some important details

• You can find your testing locations on the Fishbowl windows on 1st Floor Green, 3rd Floor Blue and 3rd Floor Green
• If you report to school later than 8:15 am you will not be able to take the exam.
• Bring a bottle of water. Any other type of drink will not be permitted.
• K. will provide a small snack during the second exam break.
• You will be provided a four-function calculator, but it is not required to successfully take the exam.

Come to the HALLOWEEN DANCE on FRIDAY October 29th.  $5 at the door to get in. Kick off the Halloween weekend with a dance just for high school. Halloween costumes are up to you!
