Good morning! Today is Tuesday, September 22nd.

This week is Celebrate Freedom Week in the state of Florida, and as such, the Florida Department of Education has asked that we conduct an oral recitation of the Preamble of the Declaration of Independence excerpt. By the end of the week, you will probably be able to say it along with me!

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

Do you love science? Do you love competition? Join the Science Olympiad team! Science Olympiad is a club that allows you to compete against other schools in science events, including biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Any high school student interested in joining the Science Olympiad team is encouraged to check out the club page on the PK Yonge website and fill out an interest form. We will be meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 2:40 in Mrs. Davis’s Zoom Room. We hope to see you there!
