Good morning! Today is Tuesday, March 2nd

Congratulations  to the Varsity Baseball Team for their 7-3 win over Oak Hall last night.  Way to go, Blue Wave!

Seniors: Santa Fe is offering their annual Summer Enrichment Experience from 6/21-7/30. The program is designed to help students acclimate to college and give an opportunity to earn college credit. Students who complete the program may qualify for scholarships, as well.  If you are interested in this program, see Mr. Chambliss or Mrs. Koppitch for more information.

Seniors – please, please, please check in on the Senior Canvas Course announcements.  There is crucial information there on senior field pictures, senior parking, senior signatures for the yearbook, and is being updated constantly. You can also find how to join the Remind app for text reminders on these events.

Attention all cheerleaders, there will be a meet & greet in the gym this Thursday, March 4th at 3pm to meet your new varsity cheer coach Victoria Jenkins.  Information and packets for cheer try-outs will also be handed out at the meeting.  If you are unable to attend please check the cheer website for information.

Thespians: We will have a meeting THURSDAY at 12:30.  This meeting is primarily for those Thespians who have qualified for the State Thespian Competition. See you at 12:30 in Ms Snyder’s Zoom room.

Mr. Moody’s High School Art Club is now meeting in person Tuesday afternoons until 3:30! Come enjoy some good discussion and art-making fun!

Today we will answer a couple more  Because You Asked questions… Remember,   If you have a new question, you can turn it in to Mrs. V in the front office or email Dr. Geiger.

Because you asked:

Where is the main office? The main office is located on the first floor of the new secondary building.
Are we going to be having prom and what kind of precautions are going to go along with that? Mrs. Koppitch recently sent out a survey to gauge interest in prom. If there is enough interest, we will be having prom on May 8th. It will be mostly outdoors and we will wear masks as a precaution.

Please stand for the pledge: (READ THIS SLOWLY…)

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Have a great day,  Blue Wave.
