Interested in playing girls soccer at PKY?  The girls soccer program is expanding!  We are trying to form a JV team and Middle School team for those interested.  If you are interested in being a part of the Blue Wave Girls Soccer program, please email coach at rebeccaschackow@gmail.com. Go blue wave!

Lost and Found

It’s time to check the lost and found for any items that are yours! Remember to check the one in the cafeteria also.

Yearbook Delayed

We have sad news – the Yearbook has been delayed for delivery. Our Yearbook staff did an awesome job this year and turned everything on time. But, the production company has had some issues and we’re working with them on a delivery date. Ms. Eubanks has autograph booklets that she will be handing out over the next couple of days to those that bought yearbooks. These can be inserted right into your yearbook when it arrives.

Service Project

Dr. Geiger is looking for one or two students – rising 10-12th graders – who would like to help with a summer technology project.  Earn community service hours while working in the AC and preserving PK history by transferring oral histories from cassettes to digital files.  Flexible scheduling during the months of June or July.  Send Dr. Geiger a canvas message or drop a note by the office for Mrs. V. to pass along.  There may be a free lunch or two thrown in as well!

Senior Reminders

Seniors – stop looking at your phones. Stop talking to the person next to you. If you are at the tardy kiosk, pause and listen up. Please check the senior canvas announcements for important details about the LAST two weeks of school. If you want to know about Senior Week, go read the canvas announcements. Curious when you’re getting your caps and gowns? Go read the canvas announcements. Not sure when water day is? Go read the canvas announcements. Want to know how you get tickets for graduation and how many? You know it, go read the canvas announcements. Any and everything you need to know about your last ever week of high school is in there. The end is near. You got this.

Senior Sunset

Calling all seniors! Get ready to bid farewell to high school in style at Senior Sunset on May 22nd! It’s your chance to soak in the memories and enjoy some burgers, hotdogs, and chips courtesy of Coach Powers. Plus, 80 seniors have already said they’re coming in the graduation forms. Make sure you wear the tee shirt to the college you’re attending. We’ll see you on the top football field from 6:30 to 8pm. Don’t miss out on this epic send-off!

Book Club

Book Club members meet in Mrs. Czyz’s room on Thursday, May 16 , during lunch. We will be discussing the ending of The Color Purple.

Color Guard

It’s that time of the year again! Color guard clinics will be hosted on May 14 & 16th from 2:40-4:00 at the PAC anchor. Color guard is a group of performers who dance and spin flags, rifles, and sabres to add visual appeal to a marching band show. If you are interested please stop by and bring a friend! No experience is necessary, students who will be in 8th grade all the way up to 12th next school year are more than welcome. Hope to see you there!

Please pause for a moment of silence:

Please stand for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
