April 11, 2024

Good morning, Blue Wave. Today is Thursday, April 11.

Girls Tennis

Good luck to the varsity girl’s tennis team at their final match of the regular season today against Newberry at 3:30pm at Westside!

Community Service Hours

This is a gentle reminder that students must have their community service hours in before they can attend end of the year events, like prom. The forms are available in the front office and can be returned there as well. We have compiled a list of ideas and opportunities for community service hours, some of which are on P.K. campus after school.
Requirements by grade:

  • 9th – 10 hours
  • 10th – 25 hours
  • 11th – 50 hours
  • 12th – 75 hours

If you have any questions, or need to know how many hours you currently have recorded, please contact your counselor.

Powder Buff Volleyball

Powder Buff Volleyball is back! Join us in the gym on Thursday, August 18th at 11:40 am. There are two ways to join the action: Sign up to play or buy a ticket to watch. Space is limited to the first 20 boys who sign up and bring their $5 fee to high school lunch. Tickets are $3 for spectators.

Due to weather today, tickets will go on sale Friday during lunch

Senior Reminders

Seniors – If you’re listening to this, open up the senior canvas course and check the announcements. There are several important things in there, such as Grad Bash information, how to write your bio for graduation, scholarships, and voting for graduation MC. Please, please, please keep up to date!

Please pause for a moment of silence:

Please stand for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
