Athletics

Cheerleaders will be selling $1.00 sno-cones on Tuesdays and Thursdays right after school at the cafeteria all spring. Please come out and support the cheerleading program!

Chromebooks

Attention Students: Chromebook Reminders
You should all be bringing a charged device to school each day.  Please do not expect teachers to supply a charger for you.
Chromebooks should not be used during lunch.  They should be stored in lockers away from liquids and food.
It is our expectation that cases remain on the Chromebook at all times, especially for identification purposes.

Clubs

There’s a SADD meeting today during HS lunch in Coach Hazan’s room Z-1429.

Middle School B.O.S.S. is today in Rm. J-306 during lunch.  Lunch will be provided for current middle school members. Please remember to wear your B.O.S.S shirt and bring your Chromebook.

There is a coding club meeting in Mr. Holt’s room Q-506 today from 3-3:45, first timers are welcomed!

Stop by Ms. Johnson’s Middle School Art Room for information on the Spring Art Club Workshops offered to all Middle School Students!
Permission slips are now available and the new workshop begins next Tuesday!

The National Junior Honor Society is participating in the annual Campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Every 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer and every nine minutes someone dies from it. Together we can raise some money to help scientists find a cure for this type of cancer.   All you have to do is donate any amount of money to the collection box in your first period class.  If we reach our goal of $1 per every person at the school, the first period class that collects the most money will receive a lunch from Olive Garden!  Thanks for your generosity!

Health Smart Campaign

Today’s Health Smart Reminder: Don’t snack right before a meal, and only eat a snack if you are truly hungry. Snacking out of boredom or for other emotional reasons isn’t healthy and can lead to overeating and weight gain. Most snacks should be around 100 calories, but if you need to use a snack in place of a meal, eat a slightly larger snack containing about 250 calories, recommends MayoClinic.com.

Congratulations to

For signing the Health Smart Challenge.
