Today is Thursday, March 7th and it is a B Day.

Best of luck to all our Seniors as they present their Senior Projects today!

Iced Coffee Bar is available to high school students during breakfast in the main cafeteria and during lunch at the coffee bar outside.

Flavors available include Carmel, hazelnut, Chocolate, and Vanilla. Topped with fresh whipped cream $2.50

All members of UNICEF: Our next meeting will be TOMORROW. We need to plan for our school Water Walk. Attendance and participation in this event are mandatory.

All members of Global Awareness Club, we will meet on March 29. We will be meeting to discuss the Global Scholar program and to start planning our Global Celebration Day. Attendance to this meeting is mandatory.  Please remember to send your poems and book covers to Katrina or Mrs. Santiago this weekend.

Attention High School Students:  You are invited to attend a special performance with Dr. Geiger at 2 PM on Saturday, March 16th at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.  From Colored to Black is a multi-media production incorporating film, theatre, oral history, and facilitated discussion to address issues of systematic racism related to health, wealth, education, and more. Your Social Studies teachers have been provided more detailed information. If you would like to attend, please email Dr. Geiger or drop a note for her by the front office.  The deadline for signing up is Monday, March 11th.

Please join your high school robotics team, Roaring Riptide, at UF Innovate (Innovation Hub) on Friday, March 8th from 7-8:30 p.m. as they reveal the product of their 6-week quest to build a robot. The team, along with their robot, R2-Dan2, revealed at this event will be taken to the Orlando Regional Competition later in March to compete against other teams from around the country and internationally in the 2019 FIRST Robotics Competition-Destination Deep Space.

NAHS is having a bake sale outside N-wing TODAY. Come by and get your snack on! Proceeds will go towards artistic enhancements on our campus! Invest in your school!

  • From Officer Savona:For those students who have bicycles at school and would like to register them with the University of Florida Police Department, please see me. In addition, if you need a bicycle helmet or even bicycle lights they are also available through your SRO at no cost to you.
  • I would like to remind all students that going to your cars or being in the parking lots is strictly prohibited and should be avoided.
