Athletics
Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Tennis Team for their clean sweep of Buchholz yesterday (7-0)- with wins by Brandon Stewart, Ivan Esguerra, Colby Stewart, Quinn Whittaker, Kendrick Esguerra, and Jadon Kennard.
Good Luck to our Lacrosse Team tonight at 7pm vs. Eastside. Please come out and support your team. PK students get in for free.
Cheerleaders will be selling $1.00 sno-cones on Tuesdays and Thursday’s right after school at the cafeteria all spring. Please come out and support the cheerleading program!
Clubs
Waverunner will be meeting at 2:15 after school today to go over next week’s Blue Wave sporting events! Swing by J-307 to find out what’s happening with the Wave and how to get involved!
Middle School B.O.S.S. is meeting today in room J-306 during lunch. B.O.S.S. members are asked to wear their B.O.S.S. shirts. Lunch will be provided for current members.
The Pennies for Patients Campaign ends this week. Every donation makes a difference! Donations help families of patients with blood cancer pay for medicines, doctor visits other expenses as well as research to help find a cure. Keep up your generosity with Pennies for Patients!
The National Junior Honor Society will meet next Tuesday, March 7th during lunch in Dr. Cordero’s room.
Health Smart Campaign
Are you eating healthy snacks? The size of the snack should be the right size, a good balance between enough calories to satisfy you, but still not too many. Pick foods that are low in added fat and sugar and high in fiber and water. This means an apple is better than a bag of chips.
Performing Arts
Auditions for the 2017-2018 Women’s Ensemble, and Vocal Ensemble will be held today in room 104 in the PAC. Please prepare 16 measures of a song. The sign-up sheet for an audition time, is on the door to room 104. If you have any questions, please see Dr. Harris.
PK Idol
