Today is Thursday, January 24th and it is an A Day.

All Global Awareness students, the 7 billion people video is due TOMORROW. Please come to the meeting with your videos.

High fives to the Freshman, JV and Varsity Boys Basketball Teams for their wins at home last night.  Way to go, Blue Wave!

Baseball tryouts will be on MONDAY, January 28th from 2:30-5:30pm. This is for Middle School, JV and Varsity. Players must have a current sports physical on file with Coach Barrett to try out. The teams will be posted on Coach Brunson’s door the following morning.

Horticulture Club Members:  TODAY, right after school, we will meet to have our photo taken for yearbook.  Please plan on attending.

Students who have previously taken driver ed. and still have the student handbook please bring them to Coach Johnson.

Tickets will be sold today during High School and Middle School Lunch, and  on Friday morning for students who would like to attend the In-School Girls Basketball Game on Friday January 25th against Hawthorne at 1:30 in the gym. We need everyone to come out and show your support for the Girls Basketball Team. Tickets are $4.00. There will be raffles with purchased tickets during the game and great concessions!

National Junior Honor Society middle school members, you have meeting tomorrow in Mrs. Beckett’s room during lunch TODAY. Please bring your lunch.

Rising high school juniors and seniors: Are you dedicated to the life sciences, natural resources, or Florida agriculture?  Participate in the Florida Youth Institute for 1 week in July at the UF campus to experience, connect, explore, interact, and present.  For more information about this and other excellent summer opportunities for high school students, go to www.cpet.ufl.edu/students.

Attention Project Lit book club members – please come see Mrs. Koppitch in the art gallery library if you still need to get your books.

Please help us keep our campus safe.  Do NOT prop gym doors open — the front doors nor the back doors, nor the locker room doors.  All gym doors should remain secure during the school day.
