Announcements, Thursday 01.16.2020

Today is Thursday, January 16th and it is a B Day.

We need a big crowd to come out for the soccer game tonight against Newberry.  This is a HUGE rivalry and will determine our seat in the district. Plus, tomorrow is a teacher workday, so you can sleep in!  Boys play at 5:00; girls play at 7:00. Both promise to be exciting games. Come out and support Blue Wave soccer

Brain Bee participants, please head to Dr. Breil’s room on TODAY at lunch for the yearbook photo.

Middle School and High School TEACHERS,

Please email Mrs. Beckett that you and your first period students would like to help the National Junior Honor Society fundraise to support local patients and their families who are experiencing blood cancer.  It’s very little work for you and can make a huge difference to a child experiencing blood cancer here in our community.

All students helping with the UNICEF Bake sale please remember that the bake sale has been moved to January 23rd and 24th

Science Olympiad: All permission forms for Saturday’s competition need to be turned in as soon as possible.

There will be a high school National Honor Society meeting during lunch on Monday, January 27th, in Dr. Harris’s room in the PAC.

For those folks who have recently started driving, you must have a parking decal to park on the PKY campus.  Please purchase your decal in the business office by TODAY For those students parking in the south lot, please only park in designated parking spaces.  Senior painted spaces are up for grabs after 8:00 AM. If all the spaces are taken, you must park in the gravel lot near the business office.  PLEASE do NOT park along the fence lines, as this blocks access to the exit at dismissal and causes gridlock. Please do not park on curbs or the grass.

Come to the Marine Science Club bake sale today after school! We will be by the art building from 2:15-2:45.  Hope to see you there! All proceeds help support our field trips.
